Let’s be honest:
we like to think
and behave like
we are above
nature or that
nature is subject
to our will and
thus we should
subdue it like
we actually
have control.

Let’s be frank:
our sense of being
above nature,
controlling nature,
subduing nature,
is delusion,
and all the delible
marks and scratches
we have made
on this planet
blue, nature can
erase, along with
us and our hubris.

Let us then see this truth:
that we are dependent,
fully connected,
vulnerable,
and mortal on this
planet that repurposes
all the material,
including us.
