We have brought this
and we are fully sold,
so there is emphatically
no way back, no way to
return to what was, no
nostalgia for better times
will help, for we are now
caught up and controlled,
led this way and also that
in this supra-human dream,
pulled along by this virtual
rope that signifies a slave,
and there is no way to stop
this cattle call that lures
the sleeping masses on to
troubling futures over which
they do not have control.
