I shall come apart
to heal myself,
separate from those
who wish to diminish
and deride me, for
I am flamed by the
injustice of it all.

To myself I offer
the gift of self-talk
that does not buy
the distortions and
lies peddled as truth
but is filled up with
wholesome knowledge
about who I am and the
good that lies within.
