This bitter end that’s
coming, filled with
grooves and scars that
cannot be smoothed
over, marks long the
landscape of the
tender human soul.

We cannot easily push
aside that which will
be assigned to history
as savagery in a time
when respect and civil
behaviour were supposed
to showcase humankind.
