I sit on the
soulful shore
and look out to
the eternal sea
and think of
the world and
consider me.

The waves foam
and flow to
their end
as they ever
have done
before the earth
formed me.

Here I sit in this
meditation with sand
on my feet and the
aroma of the sea quick
to sharpen my senses
and open my eyes.
