So much talking,
so many words,
all this posturing
that makes it all
seem like its true.

Say the right thing
and make sure that
it’s heard, and never
utter what we all think.

Alone with my thoughts,
I wonder and wonder
about the many ideas
I should not be hoarding.

But here in this freedom
that is my mind I will
own the thoughts that
others seem to squander.
