Our kookaburra comes unexpected

when it will to share its call, to

sit and watch us humans from

its vantage point as a creature

unkept by the cares that we think

are so vital in the happiness

we crave; yet my kookaburra has

no timetable or plan, and it just

returns, calling, curious, free.
